BFM biography

In the beginning...

It started as a…paper plane? ;-) down on the ground in a plant. Last Millennium at he end of the (20th) century. Two young rookies (Daniel & Rickard) just about graduated from high school, finally started working for their first beer salary (e.g. Money.)

Curious, as teens are, they realized they’d got things in common. Such as: they were both madly into the real, raw & rough rock & roll of the 70’s. Ancient records (vinyl) were borrowed, discussed, raised, lost & found and liked- / disliked but that’s where & when they found/discovered their roots. Their truth. Their real deal. Three chords of Boogie (e.g./a.k.a. Music, their way) The years went by... On and on..

Then...

Rickard went for a career and changed division/employer. Daniel, kept on doing his thing = work hard, just for the Money! During this split... They still kept playing in their *own* different bands. No contact whatever in years to come (B4 cell phones & SMS!!!) But Then One Night! All of a Sudden... They met again! On a mutual gig, with their own *so-called* bands. YEAH! Afterwards (between whiskey & milk) Backstage (no groupies, then) Reunion! Lots of crazy ideas came up, but one especially, came a-live: -Let’s start a REAL Boogie band!!! Eh? How? Yes, there were some questions but... An ad in the local papers? Spread the word! -we’re looking for a drummer & a bass man! Then, Per showed up. A hairy bastard with a Coughlaniac talent: an animalish DRUMMER from HELL-BOOGIE! YEAH! A guitarist/drummerboy named Bjarne took the invitation & passed the audition but ended up??? As a bass man. Yeah! Why not? Suddenly! There was a BAND! BFM. 4-pieces of man/men! 2-gether! 8-legs! (widespread) = Old School BOOGIE ... The Boogie Train has just left the local west coast station. The steam’s up & hot. The Engine’s cool enough! The rest of the World’s not the limit, just a start, of a travel in progress. Right? BFM was played at Jamie Dyer show, Real Hit Radio in the UK 22 June. The first radiohit purhaps :-) The Journey may ride & continue round & round, the planet Tellus. As long as... YOU like the drivers... Cheers!

In 2011 bass player Bjarne left the band and was replaced by Dee R.
